During guided reading today, students read either a story about Avatars or a story about charitable organizations. There was an accompanying activity that students were required to complete, depending on the stories that they choose.

If they read the story about Avatars, they were required to create their own avatar with an accompanying list of 10 characteristics.

If they read the stories about Charitable Organizations, they were required to create a poster advertising an event that raises awareness or money for the organization.

Students had 30 minutes to complete their activity, so if they did not finish….it is now homework. Due on Monday, September 19th.
