Volleyball Tournament this weekend in Atikokan for Grade 7/8 girls from J.W. Walker School. Mrs. Bonner-Vickers will be coaching the Grade 7 girls and Mrs. Antonick will be coaching the Grade 8 girls (I am unavailable to coach this weekend).

Play: On Friday I pulled out all of my bubble equipment and let students experiment. The general consensus of the class was that they just got to “play” and did not do any work. How WRONG they were…they learned about solubility and solutions, surface tension, cohesive force, internal pressure and Laplace’s Law to name a few. Please keep this in mind when your children come home and say “all we did was play today”!
